This product is truly amazing. A sample was sent to us by the manufacturer and in the bustle of everyday business we set it aside and left it with plans to check it out later. One day in November it was unpacked and plugged into the wall. The next evening we had a bad wind storm in our area that caused a prolonged power outage.
